Today I went for the play readings. I was frustrated because a lot of the plays sounded better during rehearsals. And I could tell that some actors didn't look into the plays as much as I wanted them to. I get they have a lot of work but I think they would have sounded better if they looked into them more. I really wanted them to mark or at least notice topic changes. Its one thin i constantly heard and hated, when one sentence has two different ideas-completely different- but they're read exactly the same. But c'est la vie. Can't do much about that.

I evaluated my work today, and for my first time directing ever, and for 2 days of rehearsing, I felt like I did C-ish work if I had to grade it. I thought the messages of the plays were clear, the actors for the most part knew who they were talking to. I also really enjoyed watching some of Kelsey's work and I started ranking the plays we heard today.
