today we struck some more set, and it hurts less. its just like going back to normal, back to the old stage and the begining of the year.
more post mortem! and this is basically leaving off from tuesdays writing.
Line TESTS. Some actors didn’t memorize their lines. what the flibberdy-gibbit. I told them in every rehearsal report, and and andddddd during class. but still 4 people completely failed! I was so unbelievably pissed off. just memorize them! how hard could it honestly be!!!!! Like what the hell guys! 2-3 months with these lines and you know 20% of them? But eventually, like another month, they got them.
February was crazy timee! I always had this feeling that the show would somehow fall apart. There were so many times when i was going to. During re-casting of Miguel and Fernando (which though I understand why it happened, I feel like it was such a pain in the ass at the time.) and the rescheduling disaster (I HATE SCHEDULES. HATE THEM. And let me be clear, that I MADE that schedule, I worked on it in Barnes and Noble for 3 hours, while Lea talked to Abbi, Katelyn looked at me and helped some times, and Miguel typed everything up. Then I went home and re-did the whole thing because it was wrong, THEN after all of my work, it was still wrong and people still had stupid conflicts.) schedules can go in a hole and stay there.
