Today I had my interview with the State theatre. As I braved the freezing cold rain/sleet/snow flurries while I waited for the box office to open, I was really excited and nervous and was praying for some sort of miracle to get this job. Then I finally went inside, and started talking to the theatre manager Jessica. Well, apparently you have to be 18 to work at the state theatre, and they decided not to tell me this even though I stated in my cover letter that I am a junior, in high school. But I guess there is something to be said about the caliber of my resume, because she had looked at that, and I'm guessing though it was a college kid's. Or at least someone older that 16. Whatever, maybe the seniors should apply. They'd probably get it and it pays $10-14 an hour.
